Enjoying the last days of sun before winter, in North of France, we catch up with Tommy Knuts, painter and visual artist, and discuss about his work, his passion for colors and new project in process : the Sandero Project.
We spent few minutes at his home and workshop, talking about it’s general inspiration from books, manga, memories from childhood or whatever. Tommy had also to finish the details of a big canvas, what was perfect to record on camera.
Next we get lost not so far from my hometown, in the middle of nowhere, between the cobbles of the "Paris-Roubaix" cycle track to see what the landscape inspired him. This place was not randomly chosen as Tommy explain in the video, because of his grand-father’s passion for cycle and this track specially.
And finally, for this first experience of drawing and painting a car … it was not so bad in my view !
